Counselor staff needed for weekend and/or summer residential programs. Responsible for the direct care, supervision, and mentoring of assigned camp participants. Interest and ability to work with children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities is a must. Outgoing and energetic personality to assist with the overall social and recreation aspects of retreats. This is a rewarding opportunity which will provide life-enriching and career-building experiences. Position is residential; counselors live on-site from late-May to early August. This can be used as a recreation internship.

St. Joseph's Manor, Holy Redeemer Health System, has an immediate opening for a full time (40 hour) Recreation Therapist for the 60 bed Assisted Living Unit.
Responsibilities for this position include planning, coordinating and implementing a monthly program calendar tailored to the needs and preferences of the residents, planning unit wide special events, community outings and working closely with an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life of the residents residing at the Manor. Candidate should be enthusiastic, energetic, patient, flexible and sensitive to the needs of the adult and geriatric population. Candidate should be a CTRS or Certification eligible.
