It is with great enthusiasm that the 2008 TRI Committee invites you and your employees to attend this year’s Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Institute!

It has been our goal as co-chairs to create a TRI which is new but at the same time offers the valued benefits of past conferences. We are hopeful you will join us to “Celebrate the Legacy”. Mixing past experiences and new ideas has been so exciting. Look for some new things to be happening such as daily keynote speakers, power sessions which focus on leadership, review and update on the new long term care guidelines as well as diversity. Planned socials will take you to a Coffee House, Back to the College Campus Days and the opportunity to celebrate the legacy like there is no tomorrow during our Evening of Celebration. A special Wednesday evening activity of Disc Golf is being planned to raise money for the PTRS Education Fund and the famous Silent Auction will be back better than ever. An extra effort was given to bring new exhibitors to the conference along with some favorites of the past. While at the conference please take some time to see what these exhibitors are offering to make your work more diverse…. more fun.
